Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 1, 2026. This policy covers jekyo.com and the JEKYO software, operated and published by Jekyo LTD. The short version: we collect almost nothing, by design.
The website
jekyo.com has no user accounts, no tracking cookies, and no advertising. Your theme preference (light or dark) is stored in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
Like every web server, ours receives your IP address and request metadata to deliver pages. Standard server logs are kept briefly for operations and security, then rotated away. They are not used to profile you and are not shared.
The software
The JEKYO command line tool does not phone home. It sends no telemetry, no usage analytics, and no crash reports. It talks to exactly three kinds of endpoints: servers you configure, GitHub (to download releases, check for updates, and fetch the template catalog), and certificate authorities that your own server contacts to issue TLS certificates. Your server credentials, deployment configuration, and secrets stay on your machines.
Third parties
Release downloads and the template catalog are served from GitHub, whose privacy statement applies to those requests. TLS certificates on servers you install are issued by Let's Encrypt, contacted by your server, not by us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since we hold essentially none beyond transient server logs, exercising them is usually trivial; write to us and we will confirm.
Who we are
The data controller is Jekyo LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 13589353, registered address PO Box 4385, Companies House Default Address, Cardiff, CF14 8LH, United Kingdom.
Changes and contact
